柴油机
装备简介
不同于蒸汽轮机和锅炉,柴油机是内燃机。柴油机有着较低的油耗,特别适合需要大航程的军舰。
实物考证
游戏里面的是曼恩公司制造的九缸、双动式、二冲程柴油机(9-cylinder, double-acting, two-stroke diesel engine built by MAN),德意志级装甲舰正是采用此柴油机的。
值得一提的是,在德意志级使用柴油发动机后,德国在沙恩霍斯特级和俾斯麦级上采用了蒸汽轮机,导致此两级战列舰续航能力不足;于是德国在用作袭击舰的O级战列巡洋舰上计划重新使用柴油发动机,是曼恩公司的24缸V型两冲程柴油机(MAN 24-cylinder V-configuration two-stroke diesel engine)。

标准型对空雷达

在30年代末期出现了最早的对空雷达,这种采用弹簧床式天线的雷达可以提供对空警戒功能。

One source indicates only 1 set of this type built, but same source indicates it was installed on numerous ships. Type 21 first fitted to BB Ise in April 1942, Taiyo, Chuyo and Unyo in January 1943, others prior to August 1943. At least 30-40 sets built and used operationally.

SK雷达是战争期间的第二代对空搜索雷达,SK雷达装备了PPI显示器,极大方便了操作。这种性能优异的雷达可以提供约200千米左右的对空搜索能力。SK雷达还有一种缩小版本,用于驱逐舰。

英国274型雷达
装备简介
274雷达于43年左右研制,相比之前的284系列雷达进步很大,发射功率是前代产品的几倍。这种采用干酪边型天线的雷达在36KM距离上测距只有20米左右的误差,是E国战争末期最好的火控雷达。
